Hi all,
Ok think we should have some mention of what we can offer i.e information on visas etc, something mentioned about our meet ups, if there was any progress on the donations part then this should be mentionned .
Are we still doing adverts on there? What are we thinking for distribution? I think we should have some at the embassies and if possible at the police station, I work in Airport City so would like some to give to the many foreigners who work here.
That was all a bit rambled hope u understood!!

Just a little note that we should say it is for foreigners living in Serbia not only belgrade!!! ;-)

OK, here is my first stab at it. It is posted under the principle something is better than nothing.

The Belgrade Foreign Visitors Club is a community for foreigners and their friends in Serbia.

Over 300 members help each other settle and thrive in Belgrade and Serbia. We help new arrivals with practical issues like how to secure visas, find a job, locate trusted professional services (from dentists to landscape gardeners).

We organise regular social gatherings where members can meet new friends and business contacts.

We have an online community forum, a club podcast and a weblog all devoted to foreigners and their lives in Belgrade. We also have several adopted charities we are working with and various civic engagement projects in the works.

Membership of the Belgrade Foreign Visitors Club is completely free. The club is a non-profit organisation run by members for members.

If you have questions about life in Belgrade; you need trusted help or advice; you would you like would like to meet some friendly fellow expatriates or you would like would you like to give something back to Serbia, then come and join us at the Belgrade Foreign Visitors Club.

Business cards.

This is easy. It will be logo plus name, belgradefvc.com e-mail address and phone number . All club officers will get these.

In the next few weeks I need to form the executive board and appoint the club officers formally.

I will be in touch with those of you that have already volunteered to help, but if anyone else is interested in a formal position in the club, then mail or PM with what you might be prepared to do.

I just realized....

Your logo (which is great - stylized genex building), is similar to the logo for the vancouver olymics games.

The logo is a stylized "inukshuk" which is an arctic aboriginal symbol of welcoming.
