Hello everybody,
we will be in Belgrade next week and I am looking for a good boat restaurant.
Any suggestions?

Depends on how much you want to spend and what you are looking for. In my opinion one of the best for fresh fish, including seafish brought in daily is "Marinada" 7 Savski Nasip St, New Belgrade. tel 2158 331

Don't let the approach road put you off, it is on the Sava overlooking the back of Ada and although pricey it is excellent. So more for something special than just a meal out.

Technically maybe not a boat anymore. although the foundation is a barge they have now landscaped around it so has a terrace and garden. Very nice but if you were wanting to be "afloat" and the lapping of the water you might need to look elsewhere.

None of these are splavs (boats), but there are some great recommendations here:

My favourite splav is the mad max like Kolibri near Ada. If you want to go there, let me know and I will send you some instructions.

Hello Jonathan,

would be great, if you could send me instructions. We are leaving early tomorrow morning. Do you think, you can manage to send them before that?

Thanks a lot
Dagmar

Hi Dagmar, I think it would be nearly impossible to describe how to how there. Its really one of those take people to places.

Are you coming back? I will take you there if you are.

Check out Brodic also, it's, well... Difficult to find, one of those "secret" type of places, but it's basically *directly* behind Sajam, at the very end of it (the last building/dome).
It's a patchwork of boats and rafts kinda sorta maybe who knows tied together, with a deck in the back with picnic tables. It's nothing fancy at all and doesn't look like a restaurant, but it is a legit Belgrade classic with unbeatable atmosphere and super friendly staff. They serve pizza, salads, lotsa drinks, and not a thing more :)
For a more "alternative" boat restaurant experience... highly recommended.

Just a +1 for Brodic. Cool place and definitely worth a visit.
