Looking for a cheap bicycle

Hey

Im looking for a cheap bicycle, either a BMX or a mountain bike or if anyone knows of stores where i can get a nice bike for cheap.

Bikes are pretty inexpensive here. You can get Serbian made bikes with good parts (Shimano gears etc) for 7000 dinars.

I tend to buy my bikes down at 25th of May Sports Centre (Sportski Centar 25 Maj), in a shop called Marconi (or similar) but I will ask around for you in case there is a real bargain store somewhere. It is near Pantarei Restaurant (Tadeuša Košćuška, 63).

If you just want something cheap I would go down to the chinese mall at blok 70 in New Belgrade. You could probably get them to go lower on whatever price they say too.

A great bike shop that is I think the cheapest (for new bikes) is called
Cappiolla - Resavska street donbt know the exact number but its between
Kralja Milana and Krunska (across the street theres a bank).
I think there prices range from din3000 + + + depending on how much you want to spend.
They have all types of sports equipment etc.

Hmm. This is tempting.

It'll cost $125 each way to transport my bike. Looking at your prices here, seems like I could almost get a half decent bike for just a bit more than that and then sell it.

tempting.... then again, I'm kind of fussy about my bike.

I think you might as well just get one here. You really can get an excellent bike for under $200.

There are several local brands that use locally made frames but very high quality gears, brakes and wheels.

Schleping your bike across Europe is bothersome and risky, stimulate the local economy instead! :-)
