About Us

Welcome to the Belgrade Foreign Visitors Club, a club and  information resource for foreign residents and visitors to the magnificent city of Belgrade, Serbia.

The club is also for Serbs who are repatriating back to Belgrade; Serbs who have foreign friends or anyone interested in befriending and helping foreigners in Belgrade.

This site is not intended to be a portal or to provide comprehensive lists of resources, rather it is intended that the information within is trustworthy and that recommendations are completely reliable.

This club is very much a work in progress, with most of the content yet to be added. To join the effort to populate the wiki and forum, simply register an account.

Ivanka, please leran some English before you embark on any public communication: “life” goes without “the” in this context …

Actually, in this context, “that’s the life” is preferable to “that’s life.” The first one is an enthusiastic comment, as in, “the sweet life,” whereas the second one is a dreary, comment, like, “Aw, that’s life; it sucks.”

Just wanted to drop by and let you know that Jovana Ružičić (Serbian expat, soon to be repat) has started a Facebook group for Serbian repats: http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=233323559417 Expats living in Serbia are welcome to join as the point is pretty much the same as it is here on BFVC. Thanks again for all your efforts!

Lol! Nikola ‘was’ having a bad day. I better make sure my english writing is in tact before I dare say anything. Say… anyone know what the jurisdiction regarding buying land in Serbia is, do you “have to be” a Serb National? Also, in order to get a Serbian passport, can you marry a Serb and lay to rest any worries? I’m planning to move to Serbia soon, anyone interested in befriending a highly intelligent young chap… get him while you can!!
